Crystal Kaplan CST, LMT
Crystal entered into healing work from a desire to help others discover their innate perfection and inherent health. She feels strongly that bringing awareness, acceptance and compassion to ourselves allows for physical and emotional healing. She is a practicing Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist, Certified Massage Therapist, meditation guide and ordained minister.
Crystal moved to Washington D.C. in 1997 to attend graduate school, where she met her husband. Together, they joined the U.S. State Department as Foreign Service Officers in 1999. While working with Bhutanese and Tibetan refugees in Nepal and Palestinian refugees in the Middle East, Crystal began to hear the call to deepen her level of understanding, awareness, and compassion for herself and the world around her. Upon moving to Washington, D.C. in 2010, she began studying massage therapy, and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. She graduated from the Potomac Massage Training Institute in 2011 and left the State Department in 2012 in order to devote herself fully to healing work.
Crystal believes that our world (Gaia) is shifting into new dimensional states of being and we are shifting along with her. These shifts can sometimes feel chaotic and disconcerting while at other times joyful and energizing. Crystal is inspired to assist and support the changes you are experiencing, including the release of old patterns that no longer serve your higher purpose. With this goal in mind, she works from an energetic yet practical perspective rooted in anatomy and physiology and informed by the subtle movement of energy through our bodies. Our bodies are beautiful vehicles for our spirits, allowing us to explore and experience our world. When we are able to embrace all of our experiences, fears, and emotions, we begin to feel free and empowered and can fully realize ourselves as the masterful beings that we are.
