PREGNANCY HEALTH CARE

happy

Chiropractic is a safe, gentle, effective way to treat all the aches and pains that can be associated with pregnancy. By providing motion in the joints and correcting postural misalignments that come with pregnancy, the Doctor of Chiropractic can help pregnant patients get relief.

There are no known contraindications to chiropractic care throughout pregnancy.  Although all chiropractors are able to work with pregnant women, it is best to work with a chiropractor that has specific training and qualifications for adjusting a pregnant patient. Dr. Jennifer Sims is an ICPA trained chiropractor and has over 20 years of experience working with pregnant women.

Chiropractic care during pregnancy can help alleviate common symptoms such as low back pain, pubic bone pain, sciatica, neck pain and nausea.

Chiropractic care throughout pregnancy can help maintain stability in the pelvis. The protruding abdomen of the pregnant mom can create pressure on the joints of the spine. Chiropractic care can help reduce the potential for breech or posterior births.

Chiropractic care during pregnancy can reduce the time of labor and delivery, reduce the possibility of unwanted cesarean sections and help maintain an overall healthier pregnancy.
